Housing Development for 14 Dwellings in Langley Park, Durham

BASE were commissioned to design a new housing scheme on a former junior school infill site in Langley Park Durham. Planning was secured on this challenging heavily overlooked site in a high density traditional terraced housing area. Design cues from the original schools ornate brick and stone gable wall ends were incorporated into the new design as nod to its past use and sense of place in the community. Now complete and occupied.
