House at Whitesmocks

Designed within the garden of a larger property in an exclusive area of Durham. BASE sought and gained all statutory approvals for this large ‘one off’ executive dwelling. A challenging site due to many TPO trees and the principle that two of the elevations could not have habitable windows overlooking adjacent properties. BASE produced a design that matched those criteria, fitted with its surroundings but also brought about an imaginative solution and maximum buildable square foot for the developer / Client.
